I don’t agree with some of your politics, but I have always appreciated your image of wanting to stand up for the little guy.

However, I also recently saw a video of you skewering a cop who risked his own safety to come and evacuate you during the Capitol Hill riot. It was stunningly tone deaf. This guy did you a solid. What was your response? It’s understandable that you were feeling threatened when idiots stormed the Capitol, even though your office building was never entered by rioters.

It’s fine if you were not sure who was calling your name. But now that you do know, to come out and share your story and attack him because he seemed angry or how he looked at you sternly is truly dishonorable. I know politicians never miss the opportunity to exploit a good crisis, but you need to check yourself.
Instead of criticizing this anonymous hero for his tone or volume or facial expressions, you need to thank him. We don’t know his name yet, but you could easily find it out.

I would love to see your narcissistic sense of self-importance reduced, regardless of how hot you are. You are abusing your ableist privilege. You get a wildly disproportionate amount of attention that far smarter and wiser, but older, fatter, grayer, and more-wrinkled politicians without ruby red lipstick do not.
